sobro?? are we serious.. it’s south bronx like do you not know the history of where you’re at. The whole reason they’re trying to call it sobro is because they want to make it seem nicer because of the stigma that area faces due to the mass fires and arson that plagued the area in the past. Similar to soho, soho was never known as a nice area in the past but now it’s all gentrified with cute shops so tourists and other people that don’t know the history will move in and shop there.
