From an outsiders perspective here. My heart is with you. My mom’s mom was shot right before she turned 13 and killed by domestic violence. She then got pregnant with me at 17. I was raised by my mother who lost her mother at such a young age.. we basically grew up together. My heart aches for her often. Fast forward to meeting my now husband.. his mother was murdered by domestic violence as well. He was a 1 year old. He went through therapy for many years of his life; his aunt adopted him. I have seen this grief latch to my husband and my mother. You are capable of so many things in this life and you are one of the strongest people to exist. You’re hardwired to feel this natural pain for losing a parent.. hugs. 🙏🏻

My mom died from cancer 7 months ago. I’m still sad & angry but I’ve come to accept I’ll always be her daughter even if she’s not here. Love persists

You’re lucky. My mother hated me. She told me I was nothing and a loser. I grew up to become a doctor. I bought her a home and furnished it. She picked out the nicest most expensive thing she could find. I was happy to do it. I bought her a car… I rented a room. She still said I was nothing. I’m glad you had a nice mom. Mine was… Well, she wasn’t nice.

It’s been 10 months since my Mothers death . And that emptiness I feel in my soul is not going away and never will I feel lost sometimes I wake up in the morning and want to call her then I realize she is no longer here .
