I have a 4 month old that wasn’t latching correctly and hurting me so I strictly went to pumping and bottle feeding. Now I’m wanting to try breastfeeding again but he won’t even attempt to latch. He just arches his back and screams😭 what can I do?

When I tried to work when my son was about 8 months old, he fully refused bottles at daycare. He was basically just eating what the toddlers were eating and sometimes a bit of breast milk out of a cup (she'd give him an open cup with breast milk while all the older kids had cups of water, it's the only way he drank any)... I only worked for a short couple of months and I would breastfeed him as soon as I picked him up and then for a long time when we got home. Luckily, I worked at a school and was only working from about in 9:00 - 2:00... which is less than a lot of other jobs.

I saw a video a while back about biting while breastfeeding. I did what you recommended when they do bite and pushed him to my chest then put him in the floor afterwards and I explain not to bite because babies are smart and he understands. But he is still biting a lot when he first latches now that he has teeth! Is this a bad latch thing? Or is he just biting just because. He’s had 2 teeth for a bit now but they were just at the gums and have really come in and it’s not just a shallow tooth anymore. I’m not sure what to do because I don’t know if he’s purposely biting or not. Any tips from anyone that has had this issue would be amazing because I don’t want to end my breastfeeding journey so soon but if he continues to bite it’s going to be hard not to.

My baby is 6 days old and refuses my breast! A pediatrician in the hospital said she will never breastfeed because I wasn’t able to get her to latch in the first 2 hours due to some complications after birth :( pumping is so limiting

My baby seems to have a flow preference with a nipple shield. I have a very fast letdown and she seems to have better control with the shield. Any suggestions? She’s 9 weeks!

Can you educate on breast feeding on premees? I’m currently with my twins who were born at 33 weeks. I’m scared they won’t be able to breast feed, they latch and feed sometimes but not every time (I know they’re still too young to feed fully in their own) is there anything I can do to help them learn smoothly?

my baby had the same problem. she opens her mouth very wide for the bottle. but with a thin bottle nipple this means she will put the whole nipple and even some of the hard plastic in her mouth and she started gagging. with a wider nipple base she drinks fine
