@miarosemcgrath: Should you open a Lifetime ISA? Here are the current rules: • Open aged 18 to 39 and pay in until 50. • Save up to £4,000 per tax year. • Get a 25% government bonus (up to £1,000 a year). • Use it to buy your first home (up to £450,000) or withdraw from age 60. • Withdraw for any other reason and you’ll usually pay a 25% withdrawal charge, meaning you could get back less than you paid in. The new first time buyer ISA is yet to be finalised. #firsttimebuyerisa #ukpersonalfinance #saving #investing #firstimebuyer

So if I’ve already used a LISA to buy a home, can I still open one and add to it for retirement funds?

Do you think there would be a possibility to transfer the current money I have within my lISA to this new option? Because the 450k limit would still be a problem

This might be a dumb question, if you can use the LISA for retirement then what about your pension?
