I told my mother multiple times throughout childhood I don’t like boys and I’m not marrying one, fully lesbian now with a gf of almost 6 whole years and back then/still now she would say I haven’t found the right one 🙄🙄🙄

I realize my mom was male centered when she started dating a guy who is called me every name in the book and is the most verbally abusive man towards me and she would defend him and say that he was just doing it in defense of her. if my husband, who is the father of our child, said even a sliver of the things that my mom’s boyfriend, not my father by the way, he said to me, then I would leave him because no one talks to my child like that

My mom is beginning to form a relationship with her ex husband (but he's married so it's not a love relationship, just friendship) and father of her other two children. He assaulted me (I'm not his child biologically was his excuse) and now I get to watch them basically be a family together and she didn't even attempt to encourage my dad to step up for me. However that will soon not be my problem. I'll be out soon.

It’s been 3+ months no contact for me (one of many times, SHE goes no contact whenever she has a bad day and then expects me to chase… 😞). She wrote me a letter recently and I just threw it out. No contact is so healing and usually the right choice❤️

My brother hates my mom and is total NC….but I guarantee my mom would hand everything to my brother in heartbeat if he asked. Male center moms are more obvious if it’s the “first born son” or they have only 1 son.

my mom is so uninterested in men it's almost hilarious. I've never heard her talk about a man, she never pesters me about anything related to a man, men exist in her life insofar as it relates to her job and that's it 😂

My mom being so hungry for male attention and validation enabled her husband to abuse not only her but me as well for years. She only left when CPS got involved due to my abuse and even then we had an incident. It’s been 10+ years now and she has never so much as text a man. She says she doesn’t trust herself to find a good man and I agree with her.

my mom did. I mean sure we all got our Three square meals and clothes and such but it especially stood out when we all turned 18 she kicked us out immediately and had her first super obsession in a long time. and we almost never saw her and if we did it was her to complain about her boyfriend
