Good day, i paid lobola fully, we lived together for a while but before the official handover gathering we ended things, fast forward 2 years later I got married and signed at home affairs with another lady, we just ended things, so what i want to find out is who im I legally married to

what's the point of deadline with no consequences? this deadline doesn't change anything on the current situation. challenge number there's no consistency in SA Courts, some require you to register marriage acquire marriage certificate then initiate divorce process which is completely senseless. if Lobola letter was enough to make this marriage legal why do I need to civil route to dissolve it, why can't ine use the same lobola letter to dissolve it? Some courts are helpful with one having to go through the above.

if the half lobola was paid and that is it, the 3 requirements for a valid customary were not met then how does one go about it to have it on paper that there was never a marriage as the other party just threatens that I'll wait for your death then come claim everything even if you got married to another person?

so what happens in my case ....my father is a very cultural person who believes a guy should marry after impregnating a girl he went ahead and paid lobola even though i told him i don't want a wife and i was not part of every ceremony that took place he paid everything from his pocket how do i deal with such situation?
