@franknthecity: This year has taken so many things from me, but it has not taken my JOY! Grief has a funny way of showing up unprovoked, and she often overstays her welcome. For the first time in months, I woke up today feeling a lil lighter. Grief at every turn in my life has always grown me into something so beautiful, and I can’t wait to explore what’s to come in this season. I’m giving myself flowers today for getting up out that bed every day, continuing to fight for it, and knowing when to give myself grace on the days I simply do not have it. Here’s to August! 🫶🏾🌹
