We do a lot of, “Stick one hand out in front of you. Turn. Keep turning. Stop. Turn back. Walk forward. Yes. That. You’re touching it.” I may not be able to get my kid to see what they’re looking for, but I can verbally pilot them like a remote controlled robot, and most times that works. 😅

I tell my kiddo to picture whatever item he's wanting in his head. describe it to me, what colors should he be looking for, what shape is it? if it's cloth, can it be a different shape than he's expecting? it's not 100%, but it does work better.
