@juliandpodcastshorts: The Fat Electrician talks about how older electricians on the job would always reject new power tools and technology that made the job easier. Why do you think they did that? #electrician #electriciansoftiktok #electriciantools #electricians #electricianlife

I can't speak for everybody else. But from a military standpoint I would make sure my guys would do it the hard way the first time with minimal tools and basic gear. Then they could do it whatever way they choose after. that way if they find themselves in a situation where they had minimal resources they knew they could do it or at least think of ways to get it done.

My boss hates measuring tape with the small numbers on it. He says if you need that then you don’t know how to read a tape. That’s like saying a measuring cup shouldn’t have labels because you should be able to eye ball the liquid.

This is why. You can take a tool. I'll use a grinder as a example. You can take a Walter 5 1/2 grinder 120v all the power in the world high rpm works great. You take the young kids who walk in with there battery grinder. It's heavier, slower and bigger and think it's better bc it has a battery on it. This is in auto big time. They will die on the hill that there 10 lbs M18 1/2 drive impact is better then a air impact. It's 3x the size, weight and has less power but they will argue till they die that's all lies.

stop wasting money on £400 courses. Seriously. If you have a mobile phone, internet access and an hour a day that currently disappears into scrolling, you already have everything you need to start making money online. That’s the truth nobody seems to want to tell you. Instead, you’re told you need another course, another coach, another subscription, another funnel, another piece of software, another monthly payment. You don’t. Digital products are not complicated. They’re not a scam. They’re not a pyramid scheme. You’re not recruiting people. You’re not messaging family and friends asking them to join your team. You’re simply selling useful information. A planner. A checklist. A template. A guide. A workbook. Something that solves a problem for somebody else. When someone downloads it, you get paid. Then someone else downloads it, and you get paid again. Think of it as selling photocopies of a book while keeping the original. That’s all we’re doing. The only real decision is whether you want to create your own products or start with products that already exist. And before anyone comes for me in the comments… No, you do not need a £400 course to learn this. In fact, I’d argue that most beginners are made more confused by expensive courses because they’re packed with hours of fluff, jargon and unnecessary complexity. Beginners need simplicity. They need someone who speaks normal English. They need someone who remembers what it felt like to start from absolute zero. And they need someone who’ll still answer questions after they’ve bought. If you’re looking after children, working a full-time job, caring for parents, approaching retirement, or just feeling the squeeze of rising costs, there is absolutely no reason you can’t start. What you do in July could completely change your autumn. What you do in August could completely change your Christmas. But only if you start. 👇 my £59 starter kit is in the link in my profile.
