What people don’t realize about deep grief (my 4 year old daughter passed away 8 years ago) is genuinely a part of you has actually died! You are now not the same as you were before that November day. It takes time to get to know yourself again and be able to exist in joy as well as always carry the grief. I have learned to welcome the grief, grief has an entire new meaning to me. I’ll never let it go bc it is just love. Im glad that you are able to enjoy the journey!
