but they did vote for it actually, the end of anonymous posting on internet, as of september you will have to identify yourself to prove you are older than fifteen with your identity card they are implementing a ban of fifteen and under from social media, forum etc…so it is coming no matter what, then the european parliament voted for a law implementing scrutinizing private texts messages, mails etc so depending on who has access to all your intimate informations will be able to do whatever they want with it, and as we know government changes and everything can be used against you at some point so data protecting not anymore

Jean Philippe perhaps thinks that was very clever but one key difference between them is that he has directly opened himself up to a defamation case by (i) saying Guillaume incited harassment ie that he has committed a legally defined crime and (ii) alleging that there are victims of Guillaume. For example, he could have said “people who consider themselves victims” but he says “victimes” as an established fact. Even his comments on the joke about far-right gays runs the risk of similar legal exposure for Jean Philippe.
