allowing the death penalty implies the justice system never exhibits bias or wrongfully convicts innocent people. it's well documented that it does, therefore it cannot be justified since innocent people will inevitably end up murdered by the state

The death penalty is good in theory however you are giving the government power to take someones life and you have complete 100% faith in the justice system this is why the death penalty should never be brought back

Absolutely not. Absolute madness we’d consider reinstating that. Think of the miscarriages of justice that happen. It’s bad enough when they get released after 20 years when they were innocent. Imagine taking someone’s life and then a few years later you find out our useless criminal justice system fucked it up.
