GIRLLLLLL the only time I can regulate is really late at night because it’s the only time I have to myself and then I’m always tired in the morning and the cycle just repeats

i only found out i had adhd when my daughter was diagnosed with it. my symptoms are coming out full force with having a young kid. i’m struggling with getting triggered so bad. especially since im a therapist. i hold space for everyone else’s stuff all day and then get home and get so dysregulsted

i had one kid and sat my ass tf down. my kid is 12 now lol. i didn’t find out i had adhd until she got diagnosed in 1st grade! it’s very challenging but thankfully i have an amazing support system.

It's even worse when you finally find something you enjoy and you hyperfocus on it and you're being interrupted every 5 minutes and then it sets off ADHD rage. Also I have to micromanage everything in the household because my husband will not do anything unless I literally spell it out for him and it's burning me out so bad and he is starting to finally take steps in the right direction to do better with it but I'm still so exhausted
