totally off topic..... you can have gallstones without a gallbladder. I just had surgery to remove gallstones..... havent had a gallbladder for 15 years.

Haha I like the teaching hospitals too. Like sure you can try an IV on me for the first time. I literally do not care. I always try and bring a basket for day and night shift: hair ties, Alani drinks, donuts for everyone, good pens.

Fun fact, you *can* get gallstones with no gallbladder. Mine was removed in 2007 and I had a gallstone almost kill me in 2023.

My sil is a double amputee from knee down. When in labor she didn’t want to remove her legs. One of her nurses asked her how she was feeling and she said I can’t feel my legs. Nurse grabbed her toes fast 😂😂 and nurse was her nurse for 4 hours already at this point. Nurse looked like she was going to pass out from embarrassment because she knew my sister was an amputee lol

There’s good ones and bad ones like anyone else in the world. Last time I had a hospital stay my nurse was a lady I wish I’d had for a mom. One time I got a lady who told me she never wanted to see me again and refused to come in my room (I was a kid on suicide watch ) and made me feel like a slimy worm. It takes all kinds, as my nana used to say.

I fell down my stairs and shattered the tip of my tailbone. 4yrs later and I still can’t sit for too long and riding in cars can be a challenge.

The morning I went in for my c-section I bought a bunch of donuts and trays of fruit, and had a huge bag filled with goodie bags I’d give to every nurse that entered my room. They were soooo attentive to me 😂✨
