would love your advice on how to cover a blemish in a location i’d normally put blush or bronzer on. when i only put blush or bronzer on it, it’s not as covered as i’d like. but when i do concealer or foundation first, i find the blush or bronzer moves the underlying product.

When I worked on counter I would always tell people to apply foundation and concealer with a gentle hand. Not only to ensure a smoother application, but also because of you go too hard, you’ll aggravate the skin underneath. Then you see redness peaking throwing and think you need more coverage. When actually thy was caused by the scrubbing action. If you do your complexion to about 80-90% of what you think you need and leave it, when you come back to it, you’ll probably realise that was enough.
