Look at the bright side….Susan didn’t promise a giraffe. Which, I personally would prefer a giraffe and that would make everyone so happy (maybe except for poop duty….😂). I would consider it a win for you.

BTW, 3 goldfish will need AT LEAST a 50gal fish tank. and they will need more frequent water changes than other basic fish breeds. I would recommend tetras or mollies for smaller fish that are easier than goldfish in my experience

It could be worse- during my kids’ younger years, we had a newt named Snoot, a corn snake named Severus, a teddy bear hamster named Pancake, another guinea pig, a big fish tank, and a dog. You’re winning with a couple of fish and the dogs!😂

Well I will say goldfish need a pretty big tank!😂 they need 20 gallons per fish. If you don’t have a pond, maybe take a spin at mollies or guppies of some kind! 3-5 of them can live so nicely in a nice 10 gallon tank with a lot of decor and plants!

I suggest you pivot to tetras to avoid getting a very large tank. Contrary to popular belief, goldfish should be in bigger tanks especially multiples.

Ohh please. No… they need a massive tank. Try some platys they are similar but easier and can live in a 10 gallon vs a 50+
