For me a big part of it is because I’m a new ish therapist that works with kids and I’m horrified by the trends we are seeing and I desperately hope I can prevent at least some of my boy clients from falling into that and be able to give some protection to the girls by educating them on what to look out for.

I enjoy lurking in their communities, mostly out of interest, never actually interacting with them. I didn’t realize that there were a massive number of women giving identifying features, which is definitely a little dumb and potentially dangerous. I do find it interesting that most of these comments are describing your average conservative/misogynist/redpill man and NOT an incel.
