A real mindset. Perhaps the only one that can truly lead to success. And maybe it begins very early, when you realize that you're not enough, not yet. So you have to become enough. Just so you understand exactly what I mean. You may have to shape yourself into someone completely different from the person you once were. Your personality will probably change along the way. You'll develop a razorsharp focus and an almost blinding, unstoppable determination. But there's a price to that. You won't always know how to slow down when you should. After an obsessive, all-out training session at the gym, you can't simply walk through the front door and instantly become calm because your family is there, surrounded by warmth and quiet. You can't just switch off what's burning inside you from one moment to the next. You can't keep flipping that switch back and forth without consequences. At some point, you have to make a decision. You have to decide what you truly want, and what you're willing to sacrifice for it. I think that's what all or nothing really means. You may get everything you were fighting for. But somewhere along the way, you may lose everything else.
