@offenceregister: LATHAN MIDDLETON FROM BOSTON JAILED AT LINCOLN CROWN COURT A 35-year-old man, formerly of Boston, has been jailed after carrying out a series of violent physical attacks against a woman. Lathan Middleton, then 35, appeared at Lincoln Crown Court having admitted charges of intentional strangulation and assault causing actual bodily harm. Jurors heard how Middleton launched a brutal assault that left the victim staggering with a suspected broken nose. On another occasion, knowing the victim was six weeks pregnant, he knocked her to the ground. He kicked her repeatedly in the stomach before later strangling her during a final confrontation. The judge ruled that Middleton met the legal threshold for a dangerous offender due to the grave risk he poses. He was handed a three-year custodial sentence alongside an additional two years on extended licence supervision.
