Considering the amount of parents I met who were mad about a child being raised gender neutral in my former place or work, this is way better and more preferable. Confusing but she was really cool about it

Her heart is in the right place. But also gender neutral doesn’t necessarily mean non-binary. It just means not enforcing gendered roles into activities and toys etc. Or dressing them in overtly gendered clothes. At least not until they are old enough to show their personality and preferences.
