Batman :
Batman was never supposed to be a symbol of fear. He is and always was a symbol of hope for criminals and civilians. Batman is the second chance they never got, because Batman is just like them. He had a bad day and could've just as easily turned to evil, but instead he decided to help people. All his villains had a bad day too and chose wrong but Batman doesnt hold it against them. He tries in anyway he can to help them because he is just like them, insane.

Caped crusader was genuinely one of the most underrated series I’ve ever watched. Sure I disagree with some of its design changes but overall it’s rare for a piece of Batman media to understand his character so well

This reminded me of what Batman said to owl man once. He said “We both looked into the abyss, but when it looked back at us, you blinked.” It basically means that owl man became evil because he let himself be consumed by the abyss. Batman chose to stay good and keep doing good. Joker is what Batman was saying to owl man. He let one day ruin his life and it made him into the clown prince of crime. Batman chose the opposite.

Loved this joker variation. It was refreshing. And true to the characters trademarks. Pushing Batman. Meeting his demise by the end of their encounter laughing the entire time cause that’s the punchline, only for “they never did find the body did they?” To happen in the next scene and him show up a while later worse than before. We will see him again
