To me it’s the VERY fancy fruit. Maybe it’s not as bad in Korea as Japan but there is no situation in America where we would pay $50 for a melon in a bow that a farmer hand raised.

What are your thoughts on the possibility of SPAM being essentially reverse-marketed back into the United States? Given the significant amount of Korean content being absorbed by the US, it would be intriguing to explore the idea of SPAM being marketed as a US-made “Korean-approved” product. 🤔

As someone who raised heritage breed livestock, I was super disappointed to learn that current Jeju Black pigs are only about 25% of the genetic makeup of Jeju’s pigs. They’ve bred away from them because they aren’t commercially viable but still market them as special. 😭
