“At least it’s not cancer” … some cancers have treatments to go into remission …. You have that, you are the strongest warrior around. My body can take anything away from me at any point forever and it’s a life sentence with no cure, I have pots, and a paralyzed stomach. At least with cancer I would know I can go into remission or I’d know when my suffering ends. It sounds morbid but three incurable diseases with one being ms, is like waking up in a torture chamber every morning. I’m disabled, in extreme pain, losing my vision, my body is shutting down in various ways, and I just have to accept it and smile because I “don’t look sick” because I learned to mask outwardly
