Take the cake. Cut it for them. Provide plates and candles. That’s not a big deal. That’s like asking for tap water. It barely costs anything and paying customers are more likely to return.

Having raised 4 kids, done the exact same thing MANY TIMES.....brought in a birthday cake to have after dinner...The restaurants often brought not only a knife to cut the cake, but extra plates and forks...Many times staff wished the child a Happy Birthday...Many times it happen at local pizza places
