People don't understand that before finding out about Eleni, Esme had nothing to lose; but then she discovered she had the most precious thing in the world and couldn't afford to lose it. She had become a MOTHER, and like a lioness protecting her cub, she would do anything to keep her daughter from suffering. I can't blame her at all because I understand her, and to me, she is one of the best mothers in the series.😭😭🥹🥹

The best thing is that they are both right in their own way. That's exactly why this scene was so beautiful. We are so used to watching fights and confrontations where one person is wrong. But here you can't pick sides. You just enjoy brilliant acting from both of them.
