@weddingcoordinatorinca: Every wedding is different, but if planning a more traditional wedding, these are some of the ways a MOH has historically supported the bride. 👗 Straighten and fluff the dress before photos 💐 Hold the bouquet during the ceremony • Help with the veil, train, bustle, and bathroom breaks • Ensure the couple actually eats/drinks • If dinner is buffet style, bring the couple a plate so they don’t spend time in line 💄 Carry the emergency kit (fashion tape, safety pins, tissues, lipstick, etc.) • Be the bride’s “buffer” for small questions so she can stay present 🎤 Give the traditional toast It’s never about doing a coordinators job. It’s about being the person who knows the bride best. While I’m cueing vendors, watching the timeline, solving problems behind the scenes, a thoughtful #maidofhonor is noticing the little things… ✨ Your veil slipped. ✨ Have you had water? ✨ Let me grab your bouquet. ✨ I’ll get your medicine. That’s not replacing your coordinator. That’s supporting your coordinator so together we can keep the couple relaxed, present, and fully enjoying their wedding day, so don’t forget to include you MOH and connect them with your coordinator before the day-of. 🙏🏽 #weddingtok #weddingtips #bayareaweddingcoordinator #weddingplanning
