@amyhansenifbbpro: Every gardener has failures. Plants die. Seeds don’t germinate. Tomatoes split. Disease shows up. The deer find your favorite flower. Sometimes you do everything “right” and things still don’t go according to plan. Here’s what I’ve learned: A garden fail isn’t a sign that you have a brown thumb. It’s not proof you aren’t cut out for this. It’s just part of gardening. The only gardeners who never fail are the ones who never plant anything. Every beautiful garden you’ve admired has a story full of mistakes, lessons, and second chances that you never got to see. So don’t let one failed plant convince you to quit. Plant something else. Try again. Learn one new thing. Because the only real way to fail at gardening is to stop gardening. With failure comes wisdom that can be applied next time, if you’re willing…. 🌱 Keep growing. #GardenLife #GrowWhatYouLove #KeepGrowing #GardenLessons #GardenFails
My flower boxes on my house have fake flowers in them. My flowerbed below is thriving with a water system on a timer. So my point is it’s ok to use fake!

I don’t think people realize how much work gardening is. I sometimes get discouraged when I see my mother’s garden that seems so effortless for her but I know it’s been over fifty years of hard work.

And this situation is a few years old. U can’t get this look on day 1. It takes at least 1 year for a flower bed to come to life like they don’t be discouraged
