It happened to me! I went to Absolute Dental, and they told me I needed a deep cleaning that would cost me $2,000 out of pocket because insurance would only cover a small portion. I said, “Heck no!” I went to a different dentist, and boom I got a regular cleaning.

It is crazy that there’s so many dental offices in Las Vegas but no one can afford to go to them. That’s why I’ve started going to Mexico for dental work. It’s a lot cheaper.

A lot of these are scams, I have dental coverage through my work and I needed a tooth pulled immediately and I went to a dentist that was 100% confirmed in network. Aspen Dental. After my treatment and everything was gonna be confirmed the lady at the front desk told me that insurance wasn’t covering anything and I had to pay out-of-pocket. She told me that I could argue with it with insurance later and they would reimburse me for anything. I walked out. These places are for-profit and take advantage of your pain and suffering, hoping to make a quick buck off of you and not have to worry about insurance.

I love my dentist!! I went to absolute dental and they wanted 5k to pull a tooth and a cavity..went to my normal dentist and paid $12 after my insurance and didn't even have a cavity

It’s the corporate ran dentistry. Find a dentist that is private practice. I went to a modern dentistry on deer springs and north fifth that tried this exact upselling practice
