i'm autistic, and honestly i find it hard to tell when i should use logic or emotions. one thing i do is: if they describe emotions (stress, sadness, anger) respond with emotions. and if you don't know, you always ask "do you need advice or just comfort?"

My boyfriend does both. I can understand where he's coming from and he's just trying to comfort and gives ideas, but it can be annoying at times. Love him to death though
