Now that I think about it, Fontaine’s DPS characters were actually almost all pretty versatile. Neuvillette could be played with any elements, Wriothesley had Freeze/Melt/Burning Melt, Navia just wanted double Geo plus any consistent elemental app for Crystallize, Arlecchino had Melt/Vap/Overvape/Overload/Mono Pyro, and Clorinde had ElectroCharged/Overvape/Overload/Aggravate/Hyperbloom. Only Lyney was more focused on Mono Pyro, but even he could still be played in Melt or Vap.

i love how clorinde is just a generic electro dps with no meaningful gimmicks (yeah i love her but the bond of life is the most irrelevant gimmick ever) I used her during all of nod krai to beat lunar charged shills with ineffa

Neuvi has freeze, hypercarry, hyperbloom, lunar crystalize, lunar charged, onfield enabler for xiangling or durin. Arle has melt, vape, hypercarry, lunar overvape. Mavuika can be a a melt, vape, overload dps or a dual carry. Skirk has one viable reaction but her kit that allows onfield or off-field burst subdps. Zibai has one team she’s viable in with the only alternative being you get to play gorou if you don’t have linnea. Notice the subtle downfall of versatility?
