Оның ішінде Сырдария өзені бассейніндегі суды есепке алуды автоматтандыру және гидротехникалық нысандарды реконструкциялау жұмыстары бар. Сонымен қатар көршілес мемлекеттермен өзара іс-қимыл да күшейтіліп жатыр. Мәселен, былтыр Өзбекстан Республикасымен трансшекаралық су нысандарын бірлесіп басқару және ұтымды пайдалану туралы келісімге қол қойылды.
