Social media is definitely the biggest pressure. And you're correct we need to pay more attention and ask the correct questions. They have way more access to the world than we ever did and some parents don't understand that. They don't understand these platforms that our children participate in. But we can be there for them and create those safe spaces that they need. ❤️❤️

You are so right Louie. The world is alot different and alot bigger today than when I was growing up. I feel like the biggest pressure facing our children today is social media. I wish I knew how to fix it.

This is so on point! Thank you so much for saying this. They need to know you're REALLY listening to them, not just hearing them! I learned this working with young people, even before I worked with them in the schools. We didn't know what peer pressure was compared to what our young people deal with today!

THIS!!!!!!!! I have one adult son at 22yrs old, in another state...the way I take notes on his communication, responses and conversations. This part of parenting at this stage is more challenging. 👏
