It’s been 4 days since I started learning Japanese. When I listen to beginner-level listening videos on YouTube, I understand some of them because I've consumed an absurd amount of anime (lols) since I was a kid. I listen to a LOT of Japanese songs, too. Now when I read Japanese song titles, I can read most of them, hahah. Listening AND writing them down when you study helps a lot, in my opinion.

Hello. I get different problem. Listening is very easy for me since I consume lots of anime from childhood. But reading? Even though I remember all 210 kana, (hira and kata), but I am still struggling in reading flawlessly. Any tips?

I watch anime and when I watch it in sub I am very confused cuz the words that I have came to know are being translated differently and I get annoyed and I try more and more different scanulations and localizers for different subs in English but they're the same it's kind of confusing
