Spent a whole ass 2 and half hours once on a rainy night in Sheffield waiting for a fucking driver to take me on a 15 minute ride. The hotel was up the dual carriageway so it wasn’t possible to walk. I was freezing and pissed off. Never used uber since.

If they actually paid the drivers properly it would work a lot better, but Uber take such a big cut that drivers are pretty much forced to wait until the price surge time windows to accept rides longer than 5 minutes
