@days.with.hana: Everyone’s visiting the same 3 cities in Japan 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto… But the Japan I fell in love with is somewhere else 🤍 This time I explored Fukuoka & Itoshima — and it felt like a completely different country. 📍 Where I went: 🌊 Itoshima — seaside cafés, fresh oysters, and that open-ocean feeling you can’t get in the city ⛩️ Shiraito Falls (白糸の滝) — cool mountain air, nagashi somen, and nature that makes you feel like a kid again 🎋 🍛 Patisserie Sunmaria — maybe the best seaside restaurant + café in Japan. Try the Itoshima seafood curry, but the desserts are the real highlight (all made from scratch with seasonal ingredients) 🏙 Hakata — back to the city for the food, the energy, the night This is the Japan I want you to taste and feel 🤍 Save this for your next trip and follow along for the rest of my journey 😳 —

Cool! Did you know that Tokyo actually gets way more tourism from Japanese people themselves than from foreigners? Out of their 504 million annual visitors, a massive 479 million are domestic tourists, while about 25 million are international. I live in Barcelona, and it is the exact opposite: even though its total numbers are much lower at around 16 million, nearly 80% of them—about 12.8 million—are foreigners... but of course, thanks for showing other options!

Go to your government officials to push more remote areas. People go to the hot spots due to not knowing any better.

Your experience is the same here. All tourists think that London is the only place in the UK yesterday outside of the metropolis there is life, love and laughter without the high prices .. love your video… 🙏🌹

There are so many places in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto that haven’t been hyped on TikTok yet. Most hyped places are already tourist traps anyway. If you want to spread out of those area, there will be less English speaking people. Try utilizing more of translation devices and apps instead of pushing English through the way. They will appreciate your efforts.

Japan is so beautiful, there are also lots of tourists in the big cities of my country, but as long as they are respectful i hope they are welcomed

My family went to Japan in June. We went to Yokosuka, Aizuwakamatsu, Aomori and ended in Nippori. It was the best trip.

My first Japan trip we did the big 3 obviously, Tokyo Kyoto and Osaka, stayed a little at Nara, but we also visited Kobe, Hiroshima, Miyajima, and honestly one of my favourite places was Kobe, people were so eager to try and talk with us, asking questions, that's where we had the most exchanges with Japanese people and it was the most authentic experience I had. I also fell in love with Tokyo but it was very different.
Next time I'm going to Japan I plan on going to Hokkaido, Fukuoka, and just the smaller towns and countryside.
