I lost my sense of emotional safety with my partner and it took 10 years to work out what was going on. I discovered that our dynamic was textbook DA/Anxious. The bottom line is that my partner cannot provide what I was looking for. I stopped trying to manage him so that I would feel comfortable. My security and safety come from me now. I broke my part of the cycle and our relationship is going in the right direction. I hope this helps someone.
