I used to be super avoidant and defensive in relationships, but Ive learned it does nothing but hurt me. I think the best advice I was ever given is to use the "When this happens..I feel, I want, we should..." format of communication when talking about issues I notice and it has made communication feel lighter on my mind

ahhh.. my ex broke up with me cuz after 4 years she said she sees me like a friend. and these 4 years I suffered sm cuz everytime i wanted to talk about smth serious about our relation, she ignored, she never wanted to apologize or even talk calmly about it... and at the end i am the one that she broke up with me, love makes really blind guys.. :'D
