Pro tip: keep a potty in the car. Use a diaper in the bottom to “catch” and toss out. We drove back to LA from SD right after my first started potty training and literally stopped on the side of the 405 to use the potty!

I live here, ignore everyone except me! Downtown Mystic for exploring, S&P Oyster for amazing seafood and views. Drawbridge Ice cream is a must. Old Mystic Village is tons of themed shops and restaurants. Mystic Seaport & Mystic Aquarium are amazing for kids. Foxwoods & Mohegan are fun to see but maybe not with kids. Rhode Island beaches are nice, Watch Hill is superb! Message me if you have any specific questions!!

grew up in Stonington and now live in the Philly area with two similar aged kids- that drive can be brutal! Completely recommend driving after bedtime for the kids - no stops needed! also I recommend going to watch hill, ri - they have an amazing carousel and beach for kids, Sea View for fried seafood and Ford’s for lobsters
