Tomorrow I start chemo. I don’t think there are words big enough to describe the road that’s brought me here or the emotions that come with it. I’m scared. I’m scared of the unknown. I’m scared of the pain. I’m scared of what this means for my body. And if I’m being completely honest… I’m scared of dying. But more than anything, I’m scared of leaving my babies and my family without me. This fight has already taken so much out of me, but it hasn’t taken my will to be here, to love hard, to keep showing up as a mom, a wife, a daughter, a friend. Even on the days I can barely get out of bed, I still want to be present. I still want to laugh with my kids, hug my people, and hold on to every moment I can. Tomorrow is another step in this battle. A step I never imagined I’d have to take. A step I’m walking into with fear in my heart but also faith that God is carrying me through this. If you’ve been following my story, praying for me, sending messages, sharing my videos… please know it means more than I could ever explain. I feel it. My family feels it. If you’re able, I would be so grateful if you would share my story, my videos, and my GoFundMe. The financial side of this journey is overwhelming, and every share truly makes a difference. If you own a local restaurant and would be willing to host a benefit night, or if you have any ideas for a fundraiser, I would love to talk with you. We are open to anything that could help lighten this load during this time. Most of all, I’m asking for your prayers as I start chemo tomorrow. Pray for strength. Pray for healing. Pray for peace over my mind and heart. Pray that I get to stay here with my family for many, many more years. Thank you for walking this road with me. I’m not giving up. I’m still here. I’m still fighting. #cancer #mom #fyp #support #journey
