My last brand new transit van did that on the way home from picking it up with 35 miles on it. The Ford dealership first told me my van didn’t have that option then they said the harness wore through. Took the 2 months to get a replacement and fix it. My current Transit has several sensor faults on it and it’s 6months old. The quality is horrible in these new vehicles.

I had the clip brake and it rubbed a hole in the wire and all the brake warning lights came on. I have a good code reader that reads abs codes and it said driver side abs sensor wasn't communicating so pretty easy fix but most people will spend thousands sending to a shop who will up sell crap you don't need. NOT THIS SHOP THEY ARE LOCAL TO ME AND THE ONLY SHOP I WOULD TRUST BTW.

Another wild brake warning message on my cx-5 tail light bulb that went out coincidentally at almost the same time as the brake switch threw the code 0504. 15 error messages! Cruise disabled, low brake fluid, parking brake malfunction and I don’t remember what the other 12 were. It was a bulb and 25$ to fix it and you’d think it wouldn’t brake by how it was flashing all the messages.

that reminds me of my car ('26 CR-V) I just got back from the body shop after an auto claim. my outside beeps and hands free tail gate wouldn't work, but everything else did. it turns out, when they were putting things back together, they hooked up a wire wrong because they looked similar. probably a photo before they disconnected it would've saved me (and them) a lot of hassle!
