I think we lost the plot when we started looking for ocs through tiktok instead of looking through the artfight app. Some people got 1983929 attacks, some people got none

"ermm its an art GIFTING game, dont be so entitled." yeah, and people are allowed to be demotivated by not being gifted. it drives me nuts bc the majority of people who say this actually get a lot of attacks. it instantly kills the message and it feels slimy. yes, no one is OBGLIGATED to attack you back, especially if they have a hitlist, or if they are getting many attacks they couldn't possibly revenge all of them. however, we are all HUMAN and disappointment is NORMAL and OKAY TO FEEL. people need to step off their high horse.

As someone who got a good amount of attacks, you guys just gotta start looking through ArtFight for characters to attack rather than TikTok. Most of the best revenges I got were from people I've found directly through the tag search. Every ArtFight year "sucks" and is "worse than the last", just stop using TikTok for ArtFight and you'll be fine

It’s insane to me how much I’ve seen people claim you shouldn’t be upset over not receiving thanks/comments on attacks. Even if it WAS purely a gifting game, you should be thanking ppl who put time and effort into making something for you???? It’s wild. You say thank you when receiving gifts.

idk about y'all, but I find joy in simply making ppl happy with my art, I couldnt care less about getting revenged the only thing that might make me sad is no comment on my attack, but other than that I had the time of my life

I did like 14 attacks this year before getting burnt out I received 3 attacks I think which were all revenges like it's so demotivating I didn't even get comments on a majority of the attacks I did make

Yeah, I commented about how I only got 8 attacks, 3 of which were revenges, while I did 30 attacks all together this time arpund and all someone else said "people aren't obliged to attack back. It's a gifting game. No one is making you draw that much. Some of us have jobs." first of all, rude, During artfight I was also working, and two, like you said, it's trading, not gifting. If someone genuinely tells me "no one is asking you to draw that much." to me again, next year I might just leave people to attack me so I can revenge them because I am sick and tired of how toxic Tiktok has made art as a whole.

Am I the only one who faced NO problems I’ve done art fight multiple and I’ve never ran into and problems with the people on art fight 🥹 I only get the odd person not commenting on an attack I did for them.

i lost motivation after i realized comedy was set up to win. it genuinely irritated me to see no competition in the game this year + people were ONLY drawing one of my ocs and when i hid her profile i stopped getting attacks for the most part

Another side of the coin tho is people feeling pressured into doing revenges apposed to characters they actually wanna draw, which can feel so demotivating, I had on my card that I draw whoever I want to cus I was trying to relearn to enjoy drawing as an art student
