my mother in law was raging that we didnt have a big wedding because of " all the gifts" but me and my husband couldn't think of anything worse so we got married just us, the kids and his side of the family ( there's only 3 of them ) ... best day of my life !!

Brides & Grooms are getting way too entitled! They seem to think that people should be grateful to be invited to attend their ‘event’ - lets face it weddings are no longer about 2 people getting married, they are such a show! It’s no longer about 2 people getting married and hoping that their friends and family can share in their day. It can cost a lot of money to be a guest at a wedding, the bride and groom should be grateful that other people make the effort for them 😊

the audacity around weddings is unreal. some people expect a gift in relation to the countdown to their wedding too...a year to go, 6 months to go they expect you to not only acknowledge it but to give a present. fuck off!
