I just fill it up and spin it. Fill, Spin, Top Up, go till its almost full and install. Once its installed, top up the fluid in your transmission as it migrates into the torque converter

Yes you fill them they’re hydro couplers. Yet you don’t pump them centrifugal force spreads it

Its easier and quicker to fill the converter than it is to fill the transmission. Thats why it's done this way.

Or you can just fill it when it’s in the transmission, that’s what I did
