Yes Jon Watts hate on my feed. I’ve always said he was awful and it was crippling Tom Hollands Spider-Man, cuz Tom is amazing but those movies look horrendous.

One of the most accurate part of The Boys, is when they show scenes from the Vought movies. The weird flat lighting and the obvious green screen. That weird look... they nailed it

It's still pretty grey but there's actual shadows and texture on the character's faces! You can tell Tom's in a physical suit with a physical mask!

I think for No Way Home, the issues came from Covid restrictions so many actors had to come in on different days or couldn’t fly out to shoot. So they had to use blue screen. Not the best, but it’s an explanation why it doesn’t look great and had too much CGI
