You can shove the whole branch in the ground and it’ll grow roots. Idk about the tomato’s but at least you got a giant new plant

if you put it on water she will root !! And the tomatoes will ripen on the vine !! This happened to mine and I basically just propagated her into a new plant , now I have 2 producing plants ✨✨

I had that happen to mine. I put root hormone on the broken part and planted it. kept watering it and within a few days it perked up again. I even got the tomatoes from it last year when it happened

Absolute worst case scenario, green tomatoes make excellent curries and chutneys, hopefully your first aid measures take, tomato plants are extremely resilient

It’s ok! You can try and ripen the green tomatoes, put them in a warm place, spread out on a tray. Not direct sunlight as they might start to dry out. If this doesn’t work there are recipes out there that require green tomatoes like pasta sauces :)

It’s alright, the energy and nutrients will just redirect to the rest of the plant, so you will have bigger tomatoes and probably some new growth
