People hate and balme rhaegar for elia death but even dorne didnt blame rhaegar for elias death oberyn said "At the Trident, Dorne lost ten thousand men and two princes: my uncle of the Kingsguard, [Prince Lewyn Martell], and Elia’s gallant husband" and rhaegar didn't ran away with lyanna because he was lustful he ran away to save the world and he also saved elia who said she could try for a 3rd child but rhaegar knew it will kill her asked her to stop I love elia she is ny fav fem in asoiaf rhaegar loved his children with all his heart he sang for them he taught them he played with them but he never had much time with them why are u acting as if she was on her own. lmfao. while rhaegar fought on the trident lyanna was in dorne with THREE knights and elia was in the red keep with “SEVERAL THOUSAND LOYALISTS”. when rhaegar was offed she wasn’t allowed to to go dragonstone, because aerys used her as a ‘hostage’ against dorne, so they wouldn’t betray him like he thought

Rhaegar would have been a great king far better then robert he was already the better man he didn't liked killing he didn't even wanted to use a blade as a child when everyone was training rhaegae was reading books when he was nine he read a prophecy and said to the master of arms "I shall require sword and armor it seems I must be great warrior" further more rhaegar was a kind person he helped poor he treated everyone with respect he gave money to poor children he went around disguised in streets of lingslanding to check on small folk amd he sang to them and he gave money to orphanage poor musicians and poor ppl everyone who spoke of rhaegar (other then robert) always talked about him woth respect and always praised him even tywin he was the realm last hope praying aerys dies and rhaegar becomes king there is a reason rhaegar is called the last dragon despite viserys being alive
