I’m a Network Admin for a small ISD. Today I tracked down Vlan misconfigurations, I physically disassembled a rack and rewired it. I repaired 25 Chromebooks. And met with 4 vendors to discuss new hardware. So many hats.

How do you incorporate when you’re the only IT person and you want a promotion but you do everything. Including all of the networking, but you know you’re not a complete master and when you fall short, you reach out to the companies that you buy your products from.
