If you aren’t ready for a child, don’t have sex. Everyone’s quoting you on the “if you aren’t ready for a disabled child, you aren’t ready for a child” and then saying that killing a baby is okay. ITS NOT. That is not a good reason to kill a baby. Just don’t have sex and you won’t get pregnant. It really is that simple.

pro-choice is pro-CHOICE. giving women the choice on what they want to do with THEIR bodies, not to mention abortion can be a life saving operation. financial reasons are 100% a reason for an abortion given the state of foster and adoption systems in our country.

People should have the right to make decisions about their own pregnancies because pregnancy directly affects their body, health, education, and future. The government should not force someone to continue a pregnancy against their will. Supporting abortion access doesn’t require believing abortion is always a good choice it means believing the decision should ultimately belong to the person who is pregnant, with medical guidance when needed

"If you're not ready for a disabled child you're not ready for a child" so why are you saying they should keep it??? Banning abortion in any sort of way is a slippery slope for those who need them. Once you ban it in some sort of way, that paves the way for full bans, which are extremely harmful for EVERY person with a uterus. You got SA'd? You're not allowed to abort it. You're going to die if you have the baby? You're not allowed to abort it. The condom breaks and you get pregnant even on the pill? You're not allowed to abort it. Thinking abortion should be banned is just incredibly selfish. A mothers life is ALWAYS going to be more important than a hypothetical life the baby is going to have. If the mother does not want the baby, she shouldn't have to have the baby because if she does not want it, its going to suffer either way.

brains aren't fully developed, they can't process things like we can. abortion the fetus won't feel it like we feel pain. Again it can't process it. pro lifers are putting an attachment to a fetus that isn't theirs. its pretty simple; if you want an abortion then get one, if you don't want an abortion then don't get one

cherry picking bad pro choice arguments while ignoring good ones doesn't make you right. also let me point out that moral decisions are ultimately emotional. of course facts should be considered, but if a purely rational decision existed it would have been a logical question, not a moral one.

okay, but you cannot force people to give birth, EVEN if they're already pregnant. since that embryo is in the woman's body, the woman has the choice to remove it. You wouldn't force a mother to give one of her organs to her son to keep that son alive, because she has autonomy over her own body. even if that son would die without one of his mother's organs, nobody can just force that woman to give up a part of her body, just to save her son. And I think that logic also applies to abortion. Just because a fetus is human, you cannot force a woman to carry it against her will, since that would be a violation of her bodily autonomy. you get what I mean?

I always see people saying how it’s the woman’s choice over her body to terminate a pregnancy but I never see people talking about having responsibility over the actions that cause pregnancy. And then people always bring up rape, which yes is horrific, but it isn’t the majority of abortion patients. But don’t bring up the morality of sex, they don’t like that either.

As a pro choicer, yeah those arguments are bad, the fetus is alive, its human. I think for most people it is better to be dead than to bring up a child as poor or disabled in this cruel world especially in the adoption system. You can feel however about abortion but it still should be legally allowed, i get everyone feels different on the morals of it but it is inhumane to force anyone to give birth to a baby they dont want to.
