But I remember an episode where someone from Israel visits them and stays in their apartment. They tell each other to be careful so he doesn't take their apartment and kick them out, as a metaphor for the expulsion of Palestinians from their homes. I think some people weren't paying attention to the Palestinian issue at the time, so this conversation didn't catch their attention. In reality, Hollywood acknowledges what Israel is doing in terms of expulsion and displacement, but they see it as their right because it's their holy land, and that the Arabs can take the Palestinians.

Not just Friends, I'd say around 80% of American TV shows do this. They sprinkle it in here and there so it doesn't stand out, but over time it can subtly influence the audience on a subconscious level.😂
