I think we're starting to have a real problem with expectations in aesthetics. There are more treatment options available than ever before, and skin tightening devices definitely have their place when they're used on the right person for the right reasons. Where I struggle is when they're marketed in a way that makes people believe they'll achieve results that just aren't realistic. One of the more difficult conversations I have in clinic is telling someone that I don't think a treatment is going to give them the result they're hoping for. Not because the treatment is bad, but because I don't think it's the right treatment for them. Surgery isn't the right choice for everyone, and I completely respect that. But if surgery isn't something you want to consider, that doesn't automatically mean a non-surgical treatment is the answer. Sometimes the right thing to say is,
